I couldn't agree more. You are my hero and wherever you are, I'd like to come give you a big hug. I could sure use one right now. And hope you will keep The Daly Show alive because I have lots of pictures for you. Sadly. But hey, I guess there's always a chance for an earthquake.

Perhaps this would be a good time to start the campaign against district elections.

District elections 1.0 = Dan White. District elections 2.0 = Chris Daly. And yes I'll admit, I voted for district elections.

Please continue this or another blog. You're amusing and very insightful. And the fact you seriously p*ss off the "true believers" makes it even better.

Tender Nob, keep this blog going. It's time to now keep the pressure up on Daly. He is dangerous and will consider running for Mayor. Is there the political will and energy for a recall campaign?

Thanks, everyone. We're nowhere near giving up about the issues where Daly has failed us.

If anyone wants to be part of a movement to hold Daly's feet to the fire, please e-mail us at uppertenderloin@yahoo.com . At some point, we'd like to get together IRL and strategize.

(And before any True Believers get any ideas: moles will be dealt with. You've been warned.)

The great thing about American politics is that sooner or later, the electorate gets it right. Many hoped that the 2004 presidential election would be a catalyst for change. But it took two additional years. It may have taken longer than some would have hoped, but it happened.

Unfortunately I can't say the same for SF politics. There never seems to be that counterbalancing swing in the other direction. Why? Who knows. Guys like Daly keep getting elected as champions of the "common man" with an agenda where a vibrant business community takes a back seat to progressive social issues. An agenda where the needs of the few outweigh the needs of the many.

I've enjoyed this blog very much, mostly because you've done such a great job at articulating the frustration I feel toward Daly and his type of politics. Keep up the good work.
